Accor has expanded its already considerable
portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of a Novotel in
Rayong.
The 234-room Novotel Rayong Star Convention Centre is
located about 30 minutes from the Mapthaput Industrial Zone,
approximately two and a half hours from Suvarnabhumi International
Airport (BKK) and around a 60-minute drive from Utapao Airport
(UTP).
Visitors to Rayong city can explore historic places
and tourist attractions, including the 80-year old Yom Jin Da Road
Market, the curvy Seang Chan Beach, Floating Pagoda, Khao Laem Ya-Mu
Ko Samet National Park, and fruit farms, all
located within a 20-minute drive of the hotel.
“We are
delighted to announce the official opening of Novotel Rayong Star
Convention Centre, our third hotel in Rayong,” said Garth Simmons,
Chief Executive Officer of Accor’s Premium, Midscale and Economy
Division in Asia. “Positioned on
Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and renowned for its
distinctive attractions and local activities, Rayong appeals to
both business and leisure travellers. From the warm welcoming,
relaxed multipurpose social hub, to the laid-back restaurants and
spacious rooms, Novotel Rayong Star Convention Centre will allow
guests to press pause and make the most of their quality time.”
Facilities at the hotel include two dining options;
a pillarless conference and event venue that can accommodate up to
1,200 guests; a swimming pool; fitness centre; and a Kids Club
with an outdoor playground.
In line with Accor’s commitment to sustainability,
the hotel has eliminated the use of single-use
plastic items throughout guest facing areas and also prioritizes
the local sourcing of products by forging relationships with
local fishermen and purchasing fresh catches on regular basis.
Richard Tin Tun, General Manager of Novotel Rayong
Star Convention Centre, said, “We are excited to welcome travellers
and neighbours alike to Novotel Rayong Star Convention Centre.
With its central location and a wide range of Novotel signature
experiences, we are providing a new space where guests, locals,
and travellers can come together for a meal, a business meeting,
or to relax and re energize. One of the hotel's highlights is the
spacious Conference & Events Centre, which consists of nine
meeting rooms and the latest technology. We aim to become the
leading MICE destination in Rayong.“
Special
limited-time opening rates start from THB 2,200++ per night, including a food
and beverage credit of THB 500 per night. The offer
is available until 30 September 2023. Terms and conditions apply.
