HK Express has upgraded its app to make the
mobile booking experience easier for customers.
The enhancements are part of a ramping up of the
Hong Kong-based airline's “Mobile First” transformation strategy,
designed to offer travellers an array of intuitive digital tools
			  and services at their fingertips.
“We are fast-tracking our digital transformation
so the next generation of travellers has everything they need to
plan, find and book flights in the palm of their hands,” said
			  Mandy Ng, HK
Express CEO. “Our new app offers a dynamic experience
that’s both efficient and enjoyable to use for our growing market
			  of tech-savvy mobile nomads.”

The upgraded HK Express app features a refreshed look, improved
and more intuitive performance, more personalisation, more content and significantly faster
			  loading speeds.
Thanks to a new app infrastructure, HK Express has
decreased both launch and flight search response times by
approximately 50 percent. In addition, the app has streamlined the
search-and-book journey down to just four simple steps and 53
			  percent fewer taps.
			  The app also provides personalised
			  destination content.
Apart from improving the pre-flight experience, HK
Express is working closely with Hong Kong International Airport to
explore more Mobile First opportunities, including a contactless
digital check-in and self-bag drop system using mobile devices.
