Mantra Club Croc Airlie Beach Completes A$8
Million Refurbishment of All 160 Guestrooms
(07/02/24)
The Mantra Club Croc at Airlie Beach has
completed an A$8 million refurbishment of all 160 guestrooms.
Owned by Well Smart Group and operated by Accor,
the resort is housed in a traditional Queenslander-style building
close to the beachfront and Coral Sea Marina.
Notable features of the guestroom refurbishment
include artistic shots by local photographers, pendant lighting,
coastal-style wall panelling, a freestanding minibar, open hanging
rail and shelves, custom bedheads, and a storage banquette with an
upholstered seat-pad.
In addition to the room upgrades, Mantra Club Croc
now offers a reimagined room service offering, a new poolside
cocktail service, and has received a full resort high speed Wi-Fi
upgrade, which is provided complimentary to all guests.
The resort refurbishment will also extend to the
resort’s reception area and poolside restaurant and bar later in
the year.
Mantra Club Croc also boasts a large lagoon pool
with adjoining spa and lush tropical gardens, a gym, extensive
complimentary parking for cars, trailers, caravans and boats,
along with a conference centre that accommodates events from 20 to
200 delegates.
“Our commitment to continuous improvement
underscores our dedication to providing a world-class tourism
offering,” said Jack Jia, Well Smart Group Director. “The resort
has been tailored to savvy leisure and business travellers who
value immersive spaces, modern dining, and leading-edge design –
it offers a seamless and intuitive experience, while providing
access to the Whitsundays’ famed blue waters, white sands and
rugged green-clad islands.”
Mantra Club Croc is one of two resorts that Accor
operates in Airlie Beach, the other being The Sebel Whitsundays.
“The transformation of all 160 guestrooms, coupled
with the upcoming upgrades to other areas of the resort,
solidifies Mantra Club Croc as a premier holiday destination,
seamlessly blending historical charm with modern coastal flair,”
said Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PME, Adrian Williams.
“Accor and Well Smart Group have a long and successful
relationship, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to partner
with them again on this landmark refurbishment. Their incredible
vision is evident in every detail of this project.”
