Thailand
(30/01/24)
IHG has signed the sixth Vignette Collection
property in Thailand.
Scheduled to open in 2028, Phuket Nai Yang Beach,
Vignette Collection will be the third Vignette Collection property
with partner Dinso Resort, joining the recently-opened Dinso
Resort & Villas Phuket, Vignette Collection and an upcoming Dinso
Resort & Villas Koh Chang, Vignette Collection.
“We’re delighted that our latest signing bolsters the strong
pipeline for Vignette Collection to represent six Vignette
Collection properties in Thailand. This shows the brand’s strong
appeal to our partners, who are retaining the distinctive
identities of their hotels, while benefiting from IHG’s global
scale, Luxury & Lifestyle expertise, and powerful IHG One Rewards
loyalty programme,” said Saowarin Chanprakaisi, Senior Director,
Development for South East Asia and Korea, IHG. “IHG continues to grow in Phuket with eight open
properties across six brands, and another five in the
pipeline. Having such a strong and broad presence in the market
ensures we’re offering a wide range of stay experiences, catering
to the needs of all travellers.”
Located on the southern tip of Nai Yang Beach,
the Phuket Nai Yang Beach, Vignette Collection, will be a
15-minute drive from Phuket International Airport (HKT) and an hour from
Phuket Town and Patong Beach.
Offering 115 rooms and suites with
views of the Andaman Sea and nearby wildlife parks, the property
will feature eight Presidential Suites – each measuring 200 square metres, four restaurants, a rooftop bar, meeting spaces of more
than 480 square metres, a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.
“Converting to the Vignette Collection brand
has made an impact to Dinso Resort & Villas Phuket, Vignette
Collection and we look forward to working closely with the IHG
team on three Vignette Collection properties in Phuket,” said Pattranit Mahattanawisit, Managing Director, Dinso
Resort. “Phuket has
maintained its reputation and enduring appeal as one of the
world’s top tourism destinations, while undergoing a rapid
transformation to also be a leading location for domestic
travellers. Increasingly, we see a desire for distinctive
lifestyle-led experiences and unique services, which Phuket Nai
Yang Beach, Vignette Collection will be poised to provide – a
thoughtfully designed and sustainably developed boutique property,
which will be one of the first internationally branded hotels in
the area.”
