Euramec Expands Flight Simulator Solutions with
ISR Mission Training Capabilities
(08/06/23)
Euramec, a leading manufacturer of flight simulator
solutions, has expanded its portfolio of products to include
intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) mission training capabilities
for the European and US law enforcement and defense
communities.
ISR provides the foundation for all military
operations, and its principles have been used in warfare for
centuries. The individual elements of ISR are:
- Intelligence: the final product derived from surveillance and
reconnaissance, fused with other information;
- Surveillance:
the persistent monitoring of a target; and
- Reconnaissance:
information-gathering conducted to answer a specific military
question.
“Now is the time
to present our extended offering of a practical, task-oriented
training to improve on the interoperability, coherence and effectiveness of Joint NATO ISR doctrine and procedures,”
said Bert Buyle, CEO Euramec. “We are equally committed to providing
the best training possible to all law enforcement organizations we
serve today. To provide career-long training to law enforcement
professionals and help them fulfill their responsibilities safely
and proficiently is our mission.”
Euramec USA recently delivered several bespoke ISR simulation
solutions to law enforcement agencies in North and Latin America.
The company
also recently supplied a Diamond DA-40/DA-42 simulator, a Tecnam
P2010 Flight Simulator, and a
type-specific FTD2 twin turboprop simulator to partners.
The company has also been awarded a contract for a
Full Flight A320 simulator.
“We consider every
single project a customized solution,” Bert added. “The customer
participates in the product development from the start of every
program. This customer-centric approach has allowed aircraft manufacturers
to build long-term business partnership agreements with Euramec.
“Manufacturers appreciate our flexibility and cost efficiency. We
are proud to say some use our expertise in simulator development
by engaging us in the design of new generation aircraft.”
With significant
shortages in simulator slots on key business aircraft types and upcoming
changes to simulator certification regulation, Euramec is
constantly developing new solutions for the training of business
aviation pilots, including devices for “green” aircraft models and
for new UAM aircraft such as eVTOLs.
