Wyndham Signs Hotels in Australia, Fiji and New Zealand

Dark/Light Mode (04/05/23)  Wyndham has signed four hotels in Australia, Fiji and New Zealand.

Earlier this year, the company opened its 48th and 49th hotels in the region: Tryp by Wyndham Tory Street Wellington and Tryp by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide.

Those two hotels will be followed later this year by La Quinta by Wyndham Ellerslie in Auckland and Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort in South Australia.

La Quinta by Wyndham Ellerslie in Auckland will be the second La Quinta property to open in New Zealand following the launch of the brand through La Quinta by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown in 2021. The property is on track to open in Q4 of this year and will be further supported early next year with the opening of La Quinta by Wyndham Parnell on the outskirts of the Auckland CBD. Both hotels are being developed by the Safari Group and will be operated by Safari Hotels.

Wyndham Garden Suites Lake Tekapo in New Zealand

The Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort is located on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia and is also slated to open at the end of 2023. The property is located a 2-hour drive from Adelaide will offer guests an escape from city life with villa style accommodation.

The Ramada by Wyndham Kings Head in Adelaide will be built on the site of the former Kings Head hotel, one of the oldest historic pubs in Australia which was established in 1848. The hotel is slated to open by end of 2024.

The Ramada Seafront Apartments Coral Coast in Fiji will offer guests easy access to the beautiful coastline, famed for its great reefs, diving trips and water sport experiences. The resort is expected to open in end of 2023.

The Wyndham Garden Wailoaloa Beach in Fiji is a 90-key property located along the beachfront of Wailoaloa’s coastline, a 10-minute drive from Fiji’s main city, Nadi, and its famed resort enclave Denarau Island. The hotel will be managed by the existing operator of the Ramada Suites by Wyndham Wailoaloa and is scheduled to open by end of 2023.

As the name suggests, the Wyndham Garden Suites Lake Tekapo in New Zealand is located near Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand. The property will be operated by the Marsden Group and is expected to open by mid-2024.

Through these anticipated openings and strong ongoing growth, Wyndham expects to strengthen its operational presence with more than 50 operating hotels in Australasia by the end of 2023.
