“This is a truly spectacular
development for our airport, our city and our country, enhancing
connectivity and offering a wide range of traveling options to the
wider public,” said Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director, Communications & Marketing,
Athens International Airport. “The US has traditionally been the most dynamically
developing market for Athens and especially in 2023, passenger
numbers between ATH and all US destinations have been soaring,
demonstrating double digit increases vs the pre-pandemic era, with
New York topping the list. We are absolutely certain that the
route will be a tremendous success, as passengers will enjoy the
excellent product offered by Norse Atlantic Airways. We are
committed to working closely together in order to substantially
contribute to and enhance the successful performance of this new
route.”
With an increasing number of Americans expressing
a keen interest in discovering the beauty of Greece, the Athens to New York JFK route
promises to fulfill this demand, providing a gateway for
travellers to experience the rich history, picturesque islands,
and warm hospitality that Greece is renowned for.
“We are thrilled to announce the commencement of

Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways. “This
