Norse Atlantic Reports Record Numbers as Airline Continues Expansion

Dark/Light Mode (11/08/23)  During the month of July 2023, Norse Atlantic Airways recorded an aggregate load factor of 85%, an increase of two percentage points on the previous month and the fifth month in row that the airline has recorded an increase in load factor.

Norse operated a total 524 flights, an increase of 173 flights compared to June 2023, with 62.5% of flights arriving within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.

The carrier also operated 100 per cent of scheduled flights for the third consecutive month, and carried 150,621 passengers in July, an increase of 53,594 compared to June.

During the month, Norse surpassed the milestone of one million booked passengers since the launch of ticket sales in April 2023.

“Norse Atlantic achieved a number of record figures in July including 524 flown flights - the largest number of flights operated in our history, and over 150,000 passengers flown in a month - marking the first time that Norse Atlantic has carried over 100,000 passengers, all while maintaining a high load factor of 85 per cent. These figures clearly demonstrate the demand for long haul low cost travel and the success of our summer route network. I am especially proud of our track record of operating 100 per cent of scheduled flights for the third consecutive month,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO Norse Atlantic Airways.

The airline's expansion continues, with direct flights connecting Paris to Miami scheduled to take off on 11 December 2023, and Berlin to Miami on 15 December 2023.

“In July we celebrated surpassing one million booked passengers since our launch in April 2023 and I would like to thank each one of our customers for choosing to fly with Norse. Our brand presence and awareness continue to grow on both sides of the Atlantic and we look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead,” added Bjorn.
