IHG Signs Asia's First Vignette Collection Hotel

(07 Jan 2022)  IHG has signed an agreement with Siam Sindhorn to open Asia's first Vignette Collection hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Designed by Eight Inc, the 393-key Sindhorn Midtown, which opened in March 2020, is located in the Langsuan district of the city, approximately 40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and close to both Sukhumvit and Silom roads.

Facilities at the hotel include a rooftop pool, three restaurant and bars, one of which is a collaboration with Saneh Jaan, five-time Michelin-star restaurant, a fitness centre and over 170 square metres of meeting space.

All rooms and suites contain signature artworks from local artists such as Kachama Perez and offer modern amenities, including Fritz Hansen’s iconic Drop chairs.

The Sindhorn Midtown will officially join IHG’s newest brand in March 2022.

We will open our second Vignette Collection hotel in Pattaya, Thailand in the next few years and expect to attract more than 100 Vignette Collection hotels globally in ten years.”

Thailand continues to be a strong growth market for IHG, with 29 hotels across eight brands in the country and another 34 properties in the pipeline.
