Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Ubud, Bali,
has appointed Masanori Hosoya as General Manager.

With over two decades of hospitality industry experience
and over 16 years with The Ritz-Carlton brand, Masa will oversee
all operations and business strategy for Mandapa, the third resort
in The Ritz-Carlton Reserve portfolio.
Masa, a Japanese natuional, started his
career in hospitality working as a Trainee at the Park Hyatt Tokyo
before joining Marriott International where he has worked
with various luxury brands ever since.
Masa first joined The Ritz-Carlton in
Tenerife in 2005 working as Restaurant Manager, followed by almost
four years at Hotel Arts Barcelona. He returned to Japan as Hotel Manager
of The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo in 2014 and stayed there for two
years before taking on his first role as General Manager of
Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts. In 2019, he joined and eventually
opened The Ritz-Carlton Nikko as GM, his most recent role prior to
moving to Bali.

authentic Ubud charm,” Masa said. “I look forward to writing a new chapter and
welcoming travellers from around the world, while showcasing

Masa is
fluent in Spanish, English and Japanese.
