Yotel has signed its first hotel in Japan.
Scheduled to open in 2024 under a long-term
management agreement, Yotel Tokyo will be located in Ginza, one of
Tokyo’s most desirable and dynamic neighbourhoods.
The 244-room hotel will showcase the
brand’s latest features including
robotic concierges, motorised SmartBeds and fully integrated
technologies designed to provide a completely touchless guest experience from
reservation all the way through to check-out.
Yotel Tokyo will also feature the brand’s
versatile public areas, a 24/7 fitness centre, a
Grab-and-Go cafe, meeting space and an outdoor terrace.

“Japan’s focus on technology and innovation has
been an important source of inspiration for Yotel ever since our
inception,” said Hubert Viriot,
CEO of Yotel. “We are immensely proud and excited to announce our
first hotel in Tokyo. A flagship for our group, Yotel Tokyo will
also be a steppingstone to roll out our brand across Japan, a
market of strategic importance for Yotel.”
Yotel Tokyo will be just steps away from the heart
of Ginza and a fifteen-minute walk from Tokyo station, home to the
city’s main Shinkansen high-speed rail terminal.
Yotel Tokyo is part of Yotel’s wider expansion
strategy that covers key cities in Japan including Sapporo,
Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe.
The company is also looking for opportunities to roll out YotelAir, the group’s transit
hotel concept, at key gateway airports and train stations in the
country.
