Firefly has confirmed that it will resume
flights between Penang (PEN) and Phuket (HKT), Thailand, effective
26 August 2022.
The airline will operate the route with four
flights per week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flights between the two popular holiday
destinations will take place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and
Sunday with FY3600 scheduled to depart PEN at 14:20, arriving in
Phuket at 14:20. Malaysia is one hour ahead of Thailand.
The return leg, FY3601, is timed to leave HKT at
14:50, arriving back in Penang at 16:50.
"With the easing of Thailand's entry requirements
for Malaysians recently, Firefly is ready to increase its services
and connect people to the Kingdom of Thailand as part of our
initiative to support economic recovery in both countries," said
Philip See, Firefly Chief Executive Officer.

Firefly also resumed services between Subang and Seletar
in June, as part of the airline's post-pandemic recovery strategy.
