Aeroflot has unveiled plans to operate flights
to the popular beach destinations of Male (Maldives) and Phuket
(Thailand), as well as to Delhi, India this coming winter season.
Daily flights to Maldives (MLE) are scheduled to
commence on 30 October 2022, with SU 0320 expected to leave
Sheremetyevo (SVO) in Moscow at 22:25, arriving in Male at
09:20 the following day. The return leg, flight SU 0321 will leave
Male at 11:00 and arrive back in Moscow at 18:50. The
airline plans to operate the route with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Daily flights to Phuket (HKT) are scheduled to
commence on 30 October 2022, with SU 0274 timed to leave
Moscow (SVO) at 20:55, arriving in Phuket at
10:20 the following day. The return leg, flight SU 0275 is slated
to depart Phuket at 12:10 and arrive back in Moscow at 18:55. The
airline plans to use Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Thrice weekly flights from SVO to Delhi (DEL) will
take off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays using Airbus A330-300
aircraft. Flight SU 0232 is scheduled to leave SVO at 19:50,
arriving in Delhi at 04:25 the next day. The return leg, SU 0233,
will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays departing at 05:50
and arriving back in Moscow at 10:20.
The airline has already opened ticket sales on those
three routes.
Later this week, the company will also launch
scheduled flights from Sochi to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Rossiya Airlines will operate the route with four flights per week
using Superjet 100 aircraft, beginning 3 August 2022.
Despite the global COVID19 pandemic, 21.4 million
passengers flew with Aeroflot in 2021, increasing to 45.8
million passengers once Aeroflot Group subsidiaries are added to
the total.
