Swire Hotels Upgrades Digital Experience
|
(14 Jan 2022)
Swire Hotels has upgraded the technology its
uses in its guestrooms and restaurants at all its
properties in Hong Kong, with plans to expand the service to
hotels in Mainland
China and Miami in the near future.
By
scanning a QR code in the room, an extensive range of services are
only a few taps away on the integrated platforms StayPlease and
OnDemand – from scheduling a time to collect dirty laundry to
selecting how eggs should be cooked when ordering all-day
breakfast.
Swire Hotels has upgraded the digital experience for guests
Dean Winter, Swire Hotels Managing Director, said, “Everything we do is about our guests and our people,
which forms the cornerstone of our digital approach. Our goal is
to make life easier and more convenient for guests, liberating
them to do more important things while boosting operational
efficiency. This also enables our team members to concentrate on
the guest experience rather than administration and process
management, thereby providing them with better services.”
EAST Hong Kong and EAST Miami both now use digital
menus, enabling guests to order food
and drinks by scanning a QR code using their personal devices,
with receipts sent to them by text or email.
