IHG Takes Over Management of 5-Star Resort in Bali, Indonesia

(13 Jan 2022)  IHG Hotels & Resorts has taken over the management of a 120-key all-suite and villa resort in Bali, Indonesia.

The resort, now operating as the InterContinental Bali Sanur Resort, formerly operated as the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali.

The property is located on Sanur Beach, which is known for its long stretch of sandy beach with shallow waters, and boasts 26 villas, each with a private pool, as well as 94 suites.

The hotel is next to the Holiday Inn Bali Sanur, which opened in August 2021.

Pre-pandemic, Sanur Beach was growing in popularity with an increasing supply of hotels, restaurants and bars, and travellers looking to enjoy the laid-back nature of the area while being easily accessible from the airport and the city.

IHG currently operates 25 hotels in Indonesia across a range of brands including Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The company also has twelve hotels in the pipeline.
