Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in
Colombia with the opening of a hotel in Barranquilla, one of the
five most important cities in the country and a major tourist
destination.
The city, which hosts the annual 5-day Carnival of Barranquilla,
is located on the Caribbean coast, next to the delta of the
Magdalena River and close to the Caribbean Sea.
