The company has plans to sell at least 20 civilian
helicopters, such as the Ansat, Mi-171A2 (pictured), Ka-32 and Mi-38, within
the Middle East by 2026.
Alpha Aviation is also responsible growing the
maintenance-side of Russian Helicopters' business in the region.
"We have gained a reliable partner for our civil
rotorcraft promotion in the Middle East represented by the AJ
Holding. The joint venture format will make it possible to expand
our presence in a region that is extremely important to us," said
Andrei Boginsky, Director General of Russian Helicopters.
Alpha Aviation and Russian Helicopters attended
the Dubai Airshow earlier this week and signed a contract to supply two Mi-171A2
helicopters to Peru, and inked an agreement to supply four Ansat and one
