Hotel Group in Cambodia Makes COVID19 Test
Mandatory for Every Guest
Dara Hotels Group in Cambodia has made it mandatory for
every guest to take a rapid antigen COVID19 test upon arrival,
regardless of vaccination status.
The move is part of the group’s 'Stay Safe with Dara Hotels' programme to promote confidence and help protect
guests as well as employees.
The mandatory test will be administered
on site at every hotel within the Dara Hotels portfolio across Cambodia by
staff who have received the required training from the Ministry of
Health.
“Given all that we have been through with COVID19, we want to offer sense of confidence knowing you and others
are safe at your chosen Dara property,” said
Richard L. Dusome
FIH, Dara Hotels Group Managing Director. “The safety and well
being of our guests, our service teams is paramount to us,
allowing you to relax and refresh. For this reason, Dara Hotels
have taken the extra step of having on-site COVID19 testing.”
The rapid antigen COVID19 test will be available free
of charge for guests who book a minimum of 2 night's stay, though
a
nominal charge will apply for those staying for just one night.
The following testing options will apply:
• Self-administered COVID19 tests using a guest's own
rapid test kit. Brands accepted are Abbot, Healgen, Indicaid,
Roche and SD Biosensor;
• Guests can purchase the rapid test for $5 at the
hotel’s front office and can self-administer with the supervision
of the hotel’s certified staff.
• If a guest requests that the hotel's trained
personnel perform the test, an extra charge of $10 for the
first guest and $5 for any subsequent tests for guests
staying in the same room will apply.
If someone does test positive, the Ministry of Health will be
informed immediately and necessary protocols followed.
