Ahmad Luqman, Malaysia Airlines Group Chief
Operations Officer, said, “We have launched VTL to facilitate safe and seamless travel
between KLIA and Changi Airport. This is a testament to what
synergistic and concerted efforts can do for the greater good of
all. We thank our government, the Ministry of Transport, and
various stakeholders for bringing this dedicated VTL to fruition. We recorded healthy forward booking in the coming
weeks for these sectors. It is truly exciting to see KLIA steadily
bustling again after a quiet period for more than a year since the
pandemic started.”
Passengers on the VTL flights will be given a complimentary hygiene kit
that includes a face mask, hand sanitiser and
sanitary wipes, all hygienically packed in a sealed zip-lock
pouch.
In addition, Malaysia Airlines’ pilots and cabin crew serving the flights
are fully vaccinated.
