GKN Aerospace Wins Boeing 777X EWIS Contract

GKN Aerospace has been awarded a new contract to
supply electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) for the
Boeing 777X family of aircraft.
The agreement adds to GKN Aerospace’s extensive
portfolio of Boeing EWIS products, with production due to start in
2024.
The contract will be delivered from multiple
locations across GKN Aerospace’s global footprint,
including Langfang in China, and its new wiring
facility in Pune, India.
John Pritchard, President Civil Airframes, said,
“GKN Aerospace is very proud to have been producing EWIS for
Boeing aircraft for many years. This new contract demonstrates our
continued commitment to quality, on-time delivery and customer
focus, and it is a significant addition to our extensive
portfolio. This success builds upon our partnership over the years
and we are delighted to strengthen and expand our business
relationship with Boeing Commercial Airplanes.”
