Korean Air to Resume Hawaii Flights

Korean Air has unveiled plans to resume flights to Hawaii
on 3
November 2021.
The Incheon-Honolulu service, KE053, is scheduled
to operate
thrice weekly, departing from Incheon International Airport
every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 20:35 to arrive in
Honolulu at 10:00.
The Honolulu-Incheon flight, KE054, is timed to
depart from Honolulu at 11:40 every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving back at Incheon at
either 17:45 or 18:05 the following
day, depending on the day of depature.
The number of Korean tourists visiting Hawaii has grown from 200
in January 2021 to 1,000 per month more recently.
Pre-pandemic, Korean Air operated 14 flights per
week (double daily) between Incheon and Hawaii.
The airline suspended its Hawaii service on 3 April
2020 because of the COVID19 pandemic.
